20 year anniversary!

Every year we visit the Kunstmuseum in The Hague. In front of Piet Mondriaan’s last painting, the Victory Boogie Woogie, we measure how much Becca has grown or changed in the last year. Starting in 2006, this year we have made our 20th trip. We have not missed one year; during Covid they kindly even opened the museum for us! This year we walked past 3 meter high fences for the Nato summit in a world  that has become increasingly uncertain. Who knows what next year will bring.

She has quite literally grown up with the painting. After 20 years she still regards it as ‘hers’.
